A friend once asked me, "What do you enjoy doing most and why isn't it your profession?" That question inspired me to do just that. For over 10 years I've been traveling down the street and across the world for ad agencies, businesses, and magazines looking for unique creativity and a dynamic lighting style.

I get REALLY excited about lighting. Talking about light, reverse engineering light, coming up with an idea and seeing what happens when I try it is the most fun I have behind the camera. From simple window light, to complex 8 light set ups, I love seeing how it all comes together to make the final image.

While growing a diverse client base, my passion for photography and studio shooting led me to develop Lighting For Photographers, a class I created and taught for 5 years at Pennsylvania College of Art and Design in my hometown of Lancaster, PA.
